The headstones are made in Edmonton at Edmonton Granite Memorial and shipped to McKenna Funeral Home.

Headstone prices start at $1049, including shipping and handling to Yellowknife. Delivery takes 6 weeks. Monuments can also be sent to communities outside of Yellowknife. Shipping costs will vary.

City of Yellowknife requirements:

At the Lakeview Cemetery in Yellowknife, the city requires families wait two years before installing a permanent grave marker. Headstones can be installed between June and October.
